Barcelona prodigy Pedri bags latest individual award

The continued excellence displayed by Barcelona talent Pedri across recent weeks has, on Thursday, seen the Spaniard rewarded in appropriate fashion by supporters of the club.

The midfield prodigy's latest accolade? Barcelona's Goal of the Month.

In a series of posts across the club's social media platforms a short time ago, the Blaugrana confirmed that Pedri had beaten out the competition to clinch the prize.

The goal in question came during Barca's Europa League visit to Turkish giants Galatasaray on the 17th of March.

After being slipped into the area by Ferran Torres, Pedri showcased his remarkable composure in dancing his way beyond a pair of Gala defenders, before rifling home at the near post in style:

Sevilla stunner

Remarkably, many would no doubt argue that just this past weekend, though, Pedri went on to find the net in even more eye-catching fashion.

This came as Xavi's troops welcomed Sevilla to the Camp Nou, for a crunch showdown amid the battle for Champions League football in La Liga.

In the end, a solitary goal proved all that separated the two sides upon the final whistle sounding in Catalunya, with that man Pedri having proven match-winner once more.

After being picked out by Ousmane Dembele on the edge of the visitors' penalty area, the 19-year-old left not one, but two Sevilla stars grounded courtesy of sumptuous dummies, before picking out the far corner of Bono's net by means of a pinpoint strike:
