Barcelona president Joan Laporta has, on Saturday, provided an insight into the clubβs ongoing efforts to register summer signing Jules Kounde for competitive action.
Xavi Hernandezβs troops, of course, are currently locked in action in the Blaugranaβs season opener, a La Liga meeting with Rayo Vallecano at the Camp Nou.
Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen are all part of Barcaβs matchday squad, after being registered for La Liga action late on Friday night.

The aforementioned Kounde, however, has been forced to watch on from the stands.
This comes after the recent arrival from Sevilla was not registered in time for the clash, owing to his new clubβs ongoing financial troubles.
Speaking to the media ahead of Barcelonaβs season opener, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of Koundeβs situation was put to the aforementioned Joan Laporta.
Whilst speculation continues to swirl when it comes to the futures of a whole host of Barcaβs stars, the current front-runner to actually seal a departure over the coming weeks comes in the form of Memphis Depay.
This comes with the Dutch international understood to have already agreed to the terms of a two-year deal with Italian giants Juventus, ahead of the imminent termination of his contract in Catalunya.
