Australia headed into the game on the back of a 4-1 loss at the hands of France.
As for Tunisia, they held Denmark to a 0-0 draw earlier this week. So, if either side wanted to stand a chance of getting out of their group, they needed a win on Saturday.
And when all was said and done, Australia eked out a 1-0 win.
The game began in fairly end-to-end fashion but it was Australia who took the lead 23 minutes in.
Craig Goodwin’s cross took a deflection but still fell to Mitchell Duke, whose looping header could not be stopped by the Tunisia keeper.
Tunisia’s best chance of the first 45 came 40 minutes in when Harry Souttar blocked a certain goal from Mohamed Dräger.
Ellyes Skhiri forced a good stop from Matt Ryan 70 minutes in. The ball was then squared to Khazri with two minutes of normal time remaining but his effort was poor.

Australia have won a World Cup game for the first time since 2010, ending their seven-game winless run at the tournament.
Of course it was 1-0 after this tweet. 😂 https://t.co/4jJEHqKIcB
