An update on the future of Brazil and Manchester United star Fred has emerged recently.
As per ESPN, David de Gea, Marcus Rashford, Fred, Cristiano Ronaldo, Diogo Dalot, Luke Shaw, Nemanja Matic and Phil Jones will all enter the final 12 months of their contracts this summer.
They add that with a new coach likely to want his own players, some of those named above may need to be offloaded to raise funds, especially if they make it clear that they will not sign new deals
However, Dalot and Fred are both expected to be rewarded with new contracts.

Fred praises Ralf Rangnick
Fred has been on Manchester United’s books since the summer of 2018 when he moved from Shakhtar Donetsk.
The midfielder has had his fair share of critics during his time in England, but he has become one of Manchester United’s more reliable midfielders – though that itself is not saying too much given the lack of quality the Red Devils have in that area right now.

Now, when discussing Rangnick recently, Fred claims that Manchester United are evolving under the German, who he labelled a great coach:
“We’re evolving, we’re working. Rangnick is a great coach.
“It’s also difficult to change coaches there in the middle of the season. But we are fitting in, we are working to understand his work. We’re already much better at this.
