Man City crush Arsenal in the Carabao Cup Final
There was a time when Arsenal used to rule Wembley.
Until recently the Gunners had won on their last nine appearances to the home of England football.
But in the past few weeks Arsenal have twice been beaten at Wembley.
Tottenham beat Arsenal 1-0 in the league, while Man City beat them 3-0 in the Carabao Cup final.
The three goalscorer for Man City were part of their old-guard.
Sergio Aguero, who has been in incredible goalscoring form since the turn of the year, broke the deadlock with a lob over David Ospina.
Vincent Kompany steered home the second following a short corner routine. David Silva wrapped up the win with a third.
Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal exit
The big issue for Arsenal fans after Man City is the continued tenure of Arsene Wenger at the club.
The ‘Wenger Out’ brigade is back to full voice after the sorry display in the League Cup final. And, it seems that Wenger could leave the club this summer.
In an interview after the Man City game, Wenger was asked whether he would still be in charge next season .
Wenger replied: “Who knows?”
I asked Arsene Wenger if that was the last time he’d managed at Wembley – Arsene told me “who knows, nobody can guarantee to come back here” pic.twitter.com/AwxRe3C0d8

Of course, the French manager signed a two year contract at the end of last season.
Will Wenger decide it’s in the best interests of everyone if he bowed our the club this summer?
While many Arsenal fans will be begging Wenger to step down, the smart money would be on Wenger still being in charge next season.
