Arsenal faced off with Liverpool on Sunday in the marquee Premier League tie of the weekend.
Arsenal kicked off at the Emirates second in the league, aware a win would have seen them reclaim top spot from Manchester City.
The Gunners had an awful record against Liverpool in recent years, not beating them in any competition for over two years.
However, Arsenal were able to come away with a 3-2 win on Sunday and are now back at the top of the Premier League.
The win for many signified a new age at Arsenal in which they are no longer underdogs and can actually compete with the bigger sides.
And when asked if Arsenal are in the Premier League title race post-Liverpool, Ben White seemed to suggest they are:
“The way we’re going, we’re doing well,” White told beIN SPORTS. “Game by game - why not?”
He added: “I think this squad is fantastic. I don’t think there’s anyone getting ahead of themselves. You can see that in the training we do during the week.
“It’s game by game, we’re not looking too far ahead.
“Playing against Liverpool is always tough.
“In the recent years we haven’t got the results we wanted. This year is different.”
“I don’t think there’s any fear in our team, we’re all young and hungry to be the best, so that’s what we’re trying to do.”
