Arsenal would reject any bid for Gabriel this summer, even a £200m offer, despite reports linking him with a move away from the club before the transfer deadline.
The Brazilian defender missed just five minutes of Premier League action last season, but has had to make do with two substitute appearances so far this campaign in a shock turn of events that has seen him ousted from the starting XI.
That omission has coincided with reports claiming that clubs from Saudi Arabia are circling around the Brazilian, who only penned a new contract in north London earlier this season.
It has led to plenty of speculation among Arsenal fans that the club could cash in on the 25 year old.

However, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the move is largely a non-starter and Arsenal wouldn’t even part ways with the Brazilian for a world-record fee.
“Arsenal have no intention to sell Gabriel Magalhaes, they consider him a very important player”, Romano explained.
With Takehiro Tomiyasu suspended for the weekend’s clash against Fulham and Oleksandr Zinchenko unlikely to be handed a start after several months out with injury, the Brazilian could find his way back into Mikel Arteta’s starting XI ahead of a crucial clash with Manchester United the following week.
Elsewhere on the transfer front, Arsenal are pushing to complete several sales, with Folarin Balogun in talks over a move to AS Monaco, where he could be followed by Sambi Lokonga.
Nicolas Pepe is also in talks over a departure, while Cedric Soares, Nuno Tavares, Rob Holding and Kieran Tierney all also expected to leave north London permanently this summer.
