A fresh insight into the future of in-demand Benfica star Darwin Nunez has been provided on Friday evening.

Hitman Nunez has of course seen his name take centre stage in the headlines over the course of the last couple of months.

This comes with the Uruguayan understood to have been added to the wishlists of a number of Europe's biggest clubs, owing to a head-turning haul of 34 goals across all competitions this season.

And now, as alluded to above, an insight into Nunez's most likely summer landing spot has, on Friday, been provided.

The info comes courtesy of Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who has gone as far as to assure that the 22-year-old will 'certainly' take his talents to England ahead of next season.

When it comes to interested parties in the Premier League, a trio of clubs are viewed as being in with a realistic shot at landing Nunez.

The outfits in question? Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United.

Both Arsenal and United are in dire need of central attacking reinforcements with a view to the 2022/23 campaign, owing to the departures of Alexandre Lacazette and Edinson Cavani alike.

Spurs, meanwhile, are understood to be eyeing options to both back up and play alongside Harry Kane, ahead of the club's return to the Champions League under Antonio Conte.

It now remains to be seen whether any of these sides are willing to cough up the required sum to coax Benfica into a deal, amid claims of a £70 million+ asking price being placed on Nunez's head.
