Arsenal offered Real Madrid forward on loan as Serie A giants bid for Vlahovic
Arsenal have been offered the opportunity to take Real Madrid striker Luca Jovic on loan, according to multiple sources.

The Gunners have been chasing a deal for Dusan Vlahovic for much of January, but always knew that convincing the player to join the club would be tough, and so it has proved.
Now, it seems as though Italian giants Juventus have entered the race for the Fiorentina striker, and as per the reliable Romeo Agresti of Goal.com, the Old Lady will be making a bid for Vlahovic imminently.

As a result, Arsenal have had to turn their attentions elsewhere, and one of those options is the possibility of taking Real Madrid outcast Luka Jovic on loan for the remainder of the season.
It would be the third successive season that the Gunners have taken a Los Blancos fringe option on a temporary deal, with both Dani Ceballos and Martin Odegaard having trodden the same path.
Does a move for Jovic make sense?
Mikel Arteta and co. are in desperate need of a striker, especially if Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang continues to be frozen out.
And while Jovic has been underwhelming in the Spanish capital, he impressed while at Frankfurt, netting 27 goals in 48 outings in the 2018/19 season, which in turn forced Real Madrid to splash out 57 million pounds on what they thought was the next big thing.

Now, however, Jovic has been firmly behind Benzema in the pecking order, and has netted just once in 18 La Liga appearances this campaign (although these appearances only amount to 240 minutes).
A move away to rekindle his career makes sense then, especially with the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland rumoured to be joining Los Blancos in the summer. For Arsenal, it would be a low-cost option should they continue to fail landing their top targets, meaning that it could be an option we won’t see explored until late in the window.
However, it wouldn’t be the worst idea.
