Arsenal, Henrikh Mkhitaryan & trying to sign Wilfried Zaha
For the second day running, Arsenal are being linked with a possible swoop for Crystal Palace’s best player: Wilfried Zaha.
On Monday, the Sun reported that Arsenal are trying to sign Zaha from the Eagles.
Zaha was given a £55 million price tag in the red top.

However, according to the Times on Tuesday, Crystal Palace are demanding around 80 million pounds for Zaha.
That’s lead the Times to report the following:
Arsenal have been interested in Zaha, 26, but they have a limited budget after failing to qualify for the Champions League.
Palace want about £80 million for Zaha, who earns near to £130,000 a week. Arsenal would need to sell the likes of Henrikh Mkhitaryan to raise money and free up wages.
The Times fail to list any potential suitors for Mkhitaryan.

Mkhitaryan’s Arsenal contract
Now 30, Mkhitaryan is under contract with Arsenal until 2021.
The Armenian captain joined the Gunners in January of 2018 from Man United.
Last season, Mkhitaryan scored six goals and chipped in with four assists in 25 Premier League matches.
Mkhitaryan scored six goals in 39 games in all competitions.
Are Crystal Palace about to lose their two best players before the 2019-20 season?
At the same time as these ‘Zaha to Arsenal’ rumours fly about, Man United appear to be closing in on Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Interestingly, a key element of the Wan-Bissaka negotiations is Crystal Palace’s request that Man United give up a clause relating to Zaha that entitles them to “20 per cent of any profit above the £3 million the club received for the attacking player,” as reported in the Times.
Are Palace focusing on this Zaha clause because they intend to sell him to Arsenal?
For the record, Zaha has previously confirmed that he’s an Arsenal fan.
26-year-old Zaha is under contract at Palace until 2023.
