Stan Kroenke has come under serious fire with Arsenal fans following figures revealing owner financing amongst Premier League clubs.
Swiss Ramble’s figures reveal that the American businessman is one of just two owners not to have invested a single penny in their club over the past decade.
Meanwhile, the club’s recruitment and sale of players has also been criticised in a report from Football.London.
Kroenke’s £0 investment: Premier League owner financing figures
In the 10 years between 2008 and 2017 Premier League clubs had over £8 bln of available cash with more than half (£4.3 bln) generated from their own operating activities and a further £3.4 bln from their owners (loans £1.8 bln and shares £1.6 bln) plus £0.3 bln external loans. pic.twitter.com/tB8ZjcBBom

Between 2008 and 2017, Kroenke has invested a grand total of £0 into Arsenal.
The 71-year-old’s ability to run the North London club has been strongly questioned by many of the supporters.
However, since the emergence of the Swiss Ramble’s figures, he has come under yet more criticism.
The Emirates faithful will be keen to see that figure change with Unai Emery’s side in real need of investment.
Despite a strong start to life in North London, weaknesses have been discovered in the Spanish manager’s side.
Ivan Gazidis is another man who is receiving flack for the Gunners’ fans regarding the club’s transfer dealings.
This stat from Charles Watts of Football.London shows the extent of the poor job the former Chief Executive did whilst with the club.
Come the summer, Arsenal will have lost Ramsey, Wilshere, Welbeck, Szczesny and Gnabry for about the price Liverpool have just got for Solanke. https://t.co/MGhMQHq5im

Arsenal fans fume with Kroenke investment in the club

Forget Emery for a moment; we have an ageing squad, we’ve alienated two of our best players, we have a lethargic owner who seems totally uninterested, empty seats at home games. Shambles. It must all start with Kroenke.

People really need to stop comparing this to Klopp’s transition seasons. Arsenal isn’t selling anyone for 100m and the entire team is 28 or older. Kroenke isn’t putting his own money in. They’re not comparable in any way.

Very interesting analysis showing that Arsenal is essentially the only Premier League club that hasn’t received any owner investment over the last 10 years. Sure that will boost Kroenke’s popularity. https://t.co/q0I37vaZzI
