Arsenal’s next outing sees them clash with Newcastle on Tuesday evening.
Arsenal head into the Newcastle clash on a superb run of form.
The Gunners have seen off West Ham and Brighton since the Premier League returned, creating a seven-point gap between themselves and Manchester City.
However, they face one of their hardest tests of the season on Tuesday, with Newcastle, along with Arsenal, the only side to have lost just one league game this season.
Ahead of the match, Mikel Arteta has been discussing Arsenal’s title hopes:
“To win against Newcastle. And then the next one and then the next one. That is the dream.
“It’s not about stopping anybody; it’s about being realistic where we are. The way we are performing, obviously it’s impressive and we are really happy with that. But, as well, we set the objectives in the short term and what we want to improve and what is making us win that many football matches.”
Manchester City, Arsenal’s closest title rivals at present, are next in action on Thursday when they face a trip to Chelsea.
