Antonio Conte responds to claims that out of form Heung-min Son must be dropped

It has been a very tricky start to the new season for Heung-min Son.

Last season’s Golden Boot winner has failed to score in 8 appearances so far this term.

His performances have also been well off it, leading to Tottenham fans questioning whether he should be dropped.

Conte: “No players are undroppable”

Conte has warned his players that none of them are “undroppable”.

Conte said: “No players are undroppable. This has to be clear.

“If I say this it’s only to help my players and to avoid injuries, to try to have players in a good performance.

“You know you can play one game well, another so-so and another not.

“My job is to protect my players and find the right way to get a good result.

“If you don’t start with some players then you have the possibility to use them in the game.”
