Antonio Conte has opened up on the difference in his Tottenham’s players since he joined the club.
Spurs have undergone something of a resurgence under the Italian. Granted, they did just lose 1-0 at the hands of Brighton.
But before that, the Lilywhites had been tearing sides apart on a regular basis, including Newcastle, Leeds and Everton.
Now, in what will no doubt come as music to the ears of the club’s supporters, Conte has outlined a change in mentality amongst his players, revealing his take that they are beginning to hate losing:
“I think that when I speak about a winning mentality it doesn’t mean you are never going to lose. A winning mentality means you have to approach every game in the right way, to manage the game in the right way. To understand the game,” he said.
“I think when we speak about a winning mentality, there is a process, especially for players. They want to win something in their career as they didn’t have a win before. I always said that we improved a lot in many aspects.

Brentford vs Tottenham
Tottenham’s next outing will see them face off with Brentford in Saturday’s late Premier League kick-off.
Spurs remain 4th in the Premier League. However, Arsenal are only behind them on goal difference after picking up a huge 4-2 win over Chelsea in midweek.
The Gunners also have to face Manchester United this weekend. But, given United’s recent form, Arsenal will likely fancy their chances.
