Andy Robertson surpassed a Man United legend in record books during Liverpool’s win over West Ham

Liverpool star Andrew Robertson etched his name ever further into the history books of English football on Wednesday night.

Robertson, and Liverpool, were of course back in action 24 hours ago.

Fresh off a pair of back-to-back victories over Leeds United and Nottingham Forest, the Reds made the trip to the London Stadium, for a Premier League meeting with relegation-battling West Ham United.

And, when all was said and done in England’s capital, Jurgen Klopp’s troops made it a trio of wins on the spin.

This came owing to a 2-1 victory, by way of goals from Cody Gakpo and Joel Matip.

Matip’s eventual winner, meanwhile, was laid on by the aforementioned Andy Robertson, who, in the process, secured for himself yet another impressive piece of Premier League history.

This is one more than was managed by Manchester United and Leeds icon Eric Cantona across his own legendary stint in the Premier League.
