The representative of Manchester City star Erling Haaland has set tongues wagging across the continent late on Thursday evening.
This comes owing to his latest comments on the Norwegian’s future at club level.
Hitman Haaland of course opted to take his talents to England last summer, leaving behind a prolific stint with Borussia Dortmund to link up with Pep Guardiola’s Man City.
And though he has since gone on to enjoy an explosive start to life in the Premier League – to the tune of 27 goals in 24 appearances, speculation has nevertheless continued to swirl around the attacker’s future.
In particular, Real Madrid have been hotly tipped to lure Haaland away from The Etihad, with boss Guardiola having been forced to go as far as to refute claims that a clause was included in the 22-year-old’s contract, to allow for him to make the move to Spain’s capital next summer.
If the latest comments on the part of Haaland’s agent are anything to go by, however, then links between his client and the reigning European champions are unlikely to subside any time soon.
Citing Los Blancos’ long-standing successes in Europe, Pimenta – who took sole responsibility of dealings involving Haaland’s future on the back of Mino Raiola’s passing last year – explained:
“There’s the Premier League and then there’s also Madrid.”
“They have something of their own that is also the dream for the players.
“Madrid keeps this magic going. They don’t have the weekly competitions, but they have the Champions League.”
Real Madrid is the “dream” move for players.
