‘Absolutely phenomenal’ - Man United fans hail summer signing during Tottenham clash

Manchester United’s supporters have flooded to social media on Saturday, to sing the praises of a headline member of Erik ten Hag’s squad.

The player in question? Andre Onana.

Shot-stopper Onana, as expected, was afforded his 2nd successive start this evening, as United made the trip to north London for a Premier League meeting with Tottenham Hotspur.

And, safe to say, to this point in proceedings, the summer arrival at Old Trafford has made his presence very much felt.

With 45 minutes on the clock, Onana has looked utterly unflappable both in and out of possession.

It is his exploits with the ball at his feet, though, which have seen the Cameroonian international singled out for particularly widespread praise.

Spraying the ball around the pitch with consummate ease, Onana, already, has added a completely new element to Manchester United’s game, which was previously so sorely lacking with David de Gea between the posts.

In turn, the Red Devils faithful, as alluded to above, have taken to Twitter in their absolute numbers, to reveal their delight with the club’s new no.1.
