Galatasaray defender Sacha Boey is not an active target for Arsenal yet this summer, despite reports that they have tabled a bid for the Frenchman.
The 22-year-old Frenchman, yet to be capped at senior level, has caught the eye this season in his 29 outings for Gala, grabbing a goal and an assist from right back as he has helped his side plot their course towards another Turkish league title.
Having seen a move to Lyon break down in January, Boey is almost certain to leave the Turkish side this summer, and has even changed agents to make a move happen amid interest from the Premier League.
Now represented by CAA Stellar, who also represent the likes of Jack Grealish and Real Madrid youngster Eduardo Camavinga, it had been reported that the Gunners had already tabled a bid for the youngster in an attempt to shore up their defence ahead of the new season.

However, according to the Daily Express, ‘Arsenal have not bid or engaged in talks’ for Boey, and at present he is not an ‘active target’ for Mikel Arteta’s side, with other players thought to be ahead of him in the pecking order.
As it stands, Arsenal are short at fullback, with Takehiro Tomiyasu not set to be back until the start of the new season following a knee injury, while Cedric is determined to fight for his place when he returns from his loan at Fulham, but it seems far more likely that he will once again be moved on this summer.
Two other players that they have been linked with for the role are Mohamed Simakan from RB Leipzig and Ajax defender Devyne Rensch, though any decision on a new fullback is not expected to come until after a deal for Declan Rice has been wrapped up.
