Before their 2-2 draw at San Mamés in November, the last seven meetings between these two had all produced home wins. Athletic Club have won just one of their last seven visits to Los Cármenes.

Under 2.5 goals is 4/5.

Draw and both teams to score is 7/2.

Iñaki Williams has never scored in 12 appearances against Granada, only facing Valencia more frequently without scoring. He is 4/1 to break the deadlock and 13/10 to end this barren run.

A massive victory and a huge step towards survival for Granada.

On Saturday, el Graná faced relegation rivals RCD Mallorca at Son Moix and, extraordinarily, left 6-2 winners.

Luis Suárez, Sergio Escudero, Antonio Puertas, Jorge Molina (with a brace) and Myrto Uzuni all scoring in Palma.

This is the first time Granada have scored 6+ in a top-flight game since December 1958, demolishing Sporting de Gijón back then.

It also means Aitor Karanka remains unbeaten as Head Coach, having began with back-to-back draws against Atlético Madrid and Celta Vigo.

More important than all of that is, now, Granada are out of the relegation zone, two points clear of the side they’ve just demolished Mallorca.

With their last two games against Real Betis and Espanyol, Nazaríes will feel confident of getting enough points to survive.

Athletic Club Bilbao though also have plenty to play for as they hunt down that seventh and final European place.

Their hopes of achieving this suffered a bit of a setback on Saturday though as Athletic were held to a goalless draw by Villarreal at San Mamés.

Marcelino’s men have only lost one of their last seven, but three of these games have ended in draws.

As a result, the Lions remain eighth, one points below Villarreal who sit in the Europa Conference League play-off round place.

Who will claim a massive victory at Nuevo Estadio de Los Cármenes?

After a historic win on Saturday, there’s little reason for Aitor Karanka to change much.

Although, Luis Suárez was taken off injured 51 minutes into that match so Jorge Molina, who scored twice off the bench, could lead the line.

Sergio Escudero was also taken off against Mallorca so, if he’s unable to start, Santiago Arias will deputise at left-back.

Germán Sánchez is fit again but Karanka might stick with Domingos Duarte and Víctor Díaz at centre-back.

Iñaki Williams will continue to lead the line having now appeared in 228 successive La Liga matches, looking for his first goal against Granada.

Raúl García was his partner on Saturday, but Asier Villalibre could come in; Oihan Sancet is out injured.

Iñigo Martínez and Yeray Álvarez will continue at centre-back, chosen over Unai Núñez and Dani Vivian.
