Bukayo Saka says he is keen for Arsenal to continue pushing towards the top of the table after a resounding win against West Ham.

The Gunners scored five at the London Stadium, with all of their strikes coming in the first half.

Saka got on the scoresheet but also picked up two assists, making him the first player in Europe to reach 10 this season.

He once again linked up well with Martin Odegaard, who has added new life to Mikel Arteta’s side since coming back from injury.

Speaking after the match, Saka said: “It was a very strong start. We remembered that we played similar like this last year so we knew we wanted to start strong and we definitely did that.

“I am just constantly looking to improve and create and score goals for the team and I am doing that right now, enjoying my football, feeling confident and want to carry on playing like this.

“I like to score and create but the biggest pleasure is winning and getting three points on the board.

“Martin [Odegaard] has been playing so good since he came back and he wanted to take the penalty to score today and I was more than happy to give him the ball because he always gives me the ball.

“We have a good connection and like I said, let’s keep this form going.”

Next up for the Gunners is Manchester United on Wednesday, but their eyes will be on the clash between Liverpool and Manchester City on Sunday.
