Newcastle take on Chelsea this lunchtime in a crunch clash in the race for Champions League places.

Yesterday’s results, which saw Manchester City surprisingly held by Southampton and Aston Villa winning at Bournemouth, means the pack has bunched up even further.

A win for either of these sides today would take them third, just a point behind second-placed Arsenal, who visit champions Liverpool later today.

Eddie Howe makes two changes to the team that drew 1-1 at Brighton last week.

Sven Botman returns to a reshuffled back four that will mean Tino Livramento moves to right-back at the expense of Kieran Trippier and Dan Burn start at left-back.

Anthony Gordon replaces Joe Willock in midfield.

Newcastle: Pope, Livramento, Schar, Botman, Burn, Tonali, Guimaraes, Murphy, Barnes, Gordon, Isak
