Manchester United vs Leeds: Confirmed team news and line-ups for crunch game at both ends of Premier League

Manchester United’s remarkable resurgence under Michael Carrick can take another step forward tonight when they host Leeds at Old Trafford.

Since Carrick replaced Ruben Amorim in January, United have won seven and lost one of their 10 Premier League games.

A sixth successive home win under Carrick would move third-placed United three points clear of fourth-placed Aston Villa with six games remaining.

Sixth-bottom Leeds watched their rivals record mixed results over the weekend, with third-bottom Tottenham losing at Sunderland, fourth-bottom West Ham beating Wolves and fifth-bottom Nottingham Forest drawing against Villa.

Leeds are three points clear of Spurs, one ahead of the Hammers and level with Forest, having won twice in the league since December 20.

United make four changes, with Lisandro Martinez returning for the first time since February in place of suspended centre-back Harry Maguire.

Wideman Noussair Mazraoui, midfielder Manuel Ugarte and forward Benjamin Sesko also come in, Diogo Dalot and Bryan Mbeumo moving to the bench and Kobbie Mainoo dropping out of the squad.

Winger Shea Lacey, 18, is back in the matchday squad for the first time since February 1.
