Leeds v Wolves: Teams confirmed as Leeds look for back-to-back wins
Wolves could go down this weekend if results don't go their way
Elland Road plays host to Wolves this afternoon in a meeting that could go a long way in deciding the fate of the Premier League’s basement dwellers.
Leeds enter the weekend in 15th, clear of the drop zone but far from safe. After a season of extreme highs and crushing lows, the Yorkshire club knows that three points today could provide some much-needed breathing room before a daunting final fixture list.
Wolverhampton Wanderers, however, arrive in a state of desperation. Rooted to the bottom of the table in 20th place, Wolves have managed just three wins all season and could go down this weekend.
Their primary issue has been a lack of goals, having scored the fewest in the division. They may look to sit deep and frustrate, hoping to hit on the break through their pacey wide men.
Here’s how they shape up.

Leeds team news
After their 2-1 win at Manchester United last time out, Leeds are looking to win back-to-back Premier League games for the very first time this season; they are the only club yet to do so in the division in 2025-26.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Leeds are unchanged.

Wolverhampton Wanderers could be relegated from the Premier League this matchday should results go against them. They’ve been bottom of the table for each of their last 29 games and will be the fourth side to have 30+ games in a row in last place, after Swindon in 1993-94 (39), Portsmouth in 2009-10 (34) and Sheffield United in 2020-21 (31).
Dan Bentley gets a rare start in goal while Toti Gomes comes into the defence as Yerson Mosquera is suspended.
