Burnley have completed the shock signing of England right-back Kyle Walker from Burnley.
The former City captain has signed a two-year deal with the newly-promoted Premier League outfit for a fee believed to be in the region of £5million.
Walker had a year remaining on his deal at City and spent the second half of last season on loan at AC Milan, where he made 16 appearances, but the Italian side opted not to sign him permanently.
The England international was not included in City’s Club World Cup squad and was expected to depart this summer.
He knows Clarets boss Parker from their time together at Tottenham between 2011 and 2013 and has become their fifth signing of the summer since returning to the top flight by finishing second in the Championship last term.

“I’m delighted to be here,” Walker told the club’s official site.
“When I spoke to Scott and heard about his plans for next season, it was an opportunity I jumped at. He’s done an amazing job here, guiding the Club back to the Premier League with a 100-point haul, and now we’re looking forward, together, at being back in the greatest league in the world.
“Burnley had a tremendous campaign last season, built on an incredible defensive record, and I can’t wait to come in and add my experience and quality to what looks an exciting squad.”
Burnley have also completed deals for Max Weiss, Quilindschy Hartman, Axel Tuanzebe and Loum Tchouana, while loan deals for Bashir Humphreys, Marcus Edwards, Zian Flemming and Jaidon Anthony have been made permanent.
Walker departs the Etihad after a hugely successful eight years in which he has won six Premier League titles and the Champions League.
He remains in the frame for a place at next summer’s World Cup with England, though he will likely need to be playing regularly to convince Thomas Tuchel to include the veteran.
