Lamine Yamal put Barcelona on track to record their 11th successive victory in all competitions with a stunning early goal at Real Betis this evening.

The Spain winger picked up the ball on the right flank after 10 minutes, chopped inside one defender and unleashed a brilliant curling effort into the top left-hand corner from 25 yards.

Yamal has now been directly involved in 13 goals in La Liga this season, scoring eight and providing five assists.

It was the first real effort of note with Barcelona dominating possession in Seville but failing to really test home goalkeeper Alvaro Valles.

Barca had an opportunity to double their advantage after 19 minutes but Karim Adeyemi was unable to beat Valles from a tight angle.
