Real Madrid make Fettal fourth signing of the transfer window
Real Madrid have added further to their ranks with the signing of a striker.
Real Madrid have signed striker Rachad Fettal from Almeria.
The Morocco Under-20 international becomes Madrid’s fourth signing of the transfer window, following Dean Huijsen, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Franco Mastantuono.
He has joined on a three-year contract from the second-tier side, with Almeria confirming the transfer in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
“UD Almeria and Real Madrid have agreed the transfer of Rachad,” the post read. We wish you all the best in this new stage, best of luck!”
Fettal will go into Madrid’s Castilla side, coached by Alvaro Arbeloa.
He made 14 league appearances for Almeria last season, though 13 were as a substitute. He scored one goal and provided one assist.
Meanwhile, Madrid are reported to be close to signing Benfica left-back Alvaro Carreras in a €50million deal.
Carreras joined Benfica from Manchester United last May following a loan spell, exercising a purchase option.
The Spain Under-21 international played 50 times in 2024-25 as Benfica won the Taca da Liga and finished second in the Primeira Liga to arch rivals Sporting Lisbon. He also featured twice at the Club World Cup.
In terms of outgoings, Madrid have confirmed Victor Munoz has joined Osasuna in a deal believed to be worth €6m.
Munoz made his Madrid debut as a substitute in the Clasico defeat to Barcelona on May 11 and also featured in the Club World Cup draw with Al Hilal. However, he will now continue his career in Pamplona.
