Endrick of Real Madrid

Endrick has joined up with the Real Madrid squad at the Club World Cup following his recovery from a muscle injury.

The Brazilian teenager was named in Xabi Alonso’s squad for the tournament but did not travel with the group to the United States as he continued his recovery back in Madrid.

But he arrived at the team hotel on Saturday as Madrid prepare to face Juventus in the last 16.

Endrick is unlikely to feature in that clash, but he will now have the chance to train with the team to build up his fitness and potentially play in later rounds should Madrid progress.

After joining from Palmeiras, Endrick scored seven goals in his debut season with Madrid, in which only eight of his 37 appearances were starts.

He scored five goals in the Copa del Rey, while finding the net once in LaLiga and in the Champions League.
