Kosovo vs Greece betting tips: UEFA Nations League preview, predictions and odds

These two teams have met four times since September 2020; Greece won the first, 2-1 in Pristina, but their subsequent three clashes have all produced draws. This includes a pair of 1-1 stalemates during World Cup qualifying last year. Greece are looking to win three consecutive away games for the first time since 2016.

Both teams to score is 5/6.

Greece to win and both teams to score is 9/2.

Giorgos Giakoumakis shared the Scottish Premiership golden boot this season, having been the Eredivisie's top-scorer the previous season. He is 8/1 to open the scoring and 7/2 to add to his solitary international goal.

Match preview

For the third competition in a row, Kosovo and Greece have been pair together so, after three successive draws, will there be a winner in Pristina?

Both these sides actually made winning starts to their UEFA Nations League campaigns, making this a top of the table clash in Group C2.

On Thursday night, Greece beat Northern Ireland 1-0 in Belfast thanks to Anastasios Bakasetas' smart touch and strike on the cusp of half time.

The Sky Blue and Whites have been stranded in League C since this competition's inception, narrowly missing out on promotion both times.

But now, under new Head Coach Gus Poyet, there is renewed optimism that Greece can qualify for a first major tournament since World Cup 2014.

Kosovo meanwhile beat Cyprus 2-0 in Larnaca on Thursday; Valon Berisha breaking the deadlock, curling home from the edge of the area.

Then, as the Cypriots pushed for an equaliser, the visitors counter-attacked and Edon Zhegrova smashed home, rubber stamping the victory.

The Dardanians only just survived at League C level in 2020, doing so courtesy of a final matchday victory over Moldova.

But now, having beaten the group's weakest side on the road already, Alain Giresse's side are well on their way to safety, even at this early stage.

Likewise, Greece and Northern Ireland were expected to be vying for first place, with the Greeks occupying the catbird seat after one game.

Will the Euro 2004 winner underline their credentials with another win on the road at Fadil Vokrri Stadium?

Kosovo team news

Vedat Muriqi is very much Kosovo's main man for goals having scored 18 from just 39 caps so far, three of which have been scored in this stadium.

Milot Rashica and Valon Berisha, the latter broke the deadlock in Cyprus, will continue in support.

Arijanet Murić, who spent the season on loan at Adana Demirspor, will continue in goal, chosen over Samir Ujkani.

Napoli's Amir Rrahmani will lead a defence that'll need to be at its best in this one.

Greece team news

Liverpool left-back Konstantinos Tsimikas will continue to be a key figure for Greece at left-back.

Over on the other side, Sheffield United's George Baldock made his international debut at Windsor Park on Thursday night.

He came on for Lazaros Rota deep into stoppage time but, after a solid display, Rota is set to keep his place.

Other key figures are goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos of Benfica and Celtic centre-forward Giorgos Giakoumakis.

Captain Tasos Bakasetas is now the top-scorer in that squad having bagged his sixth goal for Greece in Belfast.
