Chelsea vs Crystal Palace betting tips: FA Cup preview, predictions & odds

The FA Cup is famous for its regular upsets over the years

Chelsea to win and over 2.5 goals

Chelsea have been in a better run of form over the last few weeks.

They thrashed Southampton 6-0 last weekend before beating Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are coming off the back of a defeat against Leicester City.

Kai Havertz first goal scorer (7/2)

Havertz is now really starting to produce the form Chelsea paid £71m for back in 2020.

The forward has netted six times in his last seven appearances.

He has also netted some crucial goals for the Blues and he will be looking to do the same again on Sunday.

Match preview: Chelsea vs Crystal Palace

Chelsea produced one of their performances of the season during midweek as they defeated Real Madrid 3-2 on the night.

However, the win was not enough to send the Blues through as they lost 5-4 on aggregate.

Thomas Tuchel's side should take a lot of confidence away from the performance as they managed a staggering 29 attempts at the Bernabeu.

The FA Cup is now their last shot at a trophy this season and they will be well up for it.

They eliminated Middlesbrough in the last round winning 2-0 at the Riverside.

Crystal Palace looking for another big upset

Crystal Palace have looked so much improved under Patrick Vieira this season.

The Frenchman has his side playing some excellent football.

The Eagles have also claimed some major scalps including against Manchester City, Tottenham and Arsenal.

They will now be looking to cause another big upset on Sunday.

Palace thrashed Everton 4-0 in the last round to make it to the FA Cup semi-final.

Chelsea team news

Romelu Lukaku is back after recovering from an Achilles injury.

Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ben Chilwell both remain sidelined.

Crystal Palace team news

Connor Gallagher will be a big loss for Palace with the midfielder ineligible to feature.

His parent club Chelsea have not given permission for him to feature against them.

Michael Olise and Tyrick Mitchell are both pushing to make returns from injury.
