‘That’s how football should look’: Jurgen Klopp speaks out on Luis Diaz’s first Liverpool goal
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are set to face off with Leeds United on Wednesday evening.
Ahead of the game, Jurgen Klopp has been speaking to the press on Tuesday.
When doing so, Klopp would speak out about Luis Diaz’s first Liverpool goal.
The Colombian arrived from FC Porto in January and netted his first Liverpool goal this past weekend when the Reds fought from 1-0 down to beat Norwich City 3-1.
On Diaz’s goal, which was Liverpool’s third of the day, Klopp had this to say: “Very satisfying.
“Obviously the 2 we scored opened up the game for us. Knock for Norwich, boost for us. These moments are rare, you work so hard to get any advantage but if you have it, we are able to do some nice stuff. 34 passes, I loved them all.
“The last pass from Hendo was pretty special. We had a big gap in the centre which Luis used and that was because of our movement. That’s how football should look.”

Liverpool vs Leeds
Diaz and Liverpool are now set to turn their attentions towards a clash with Leeds United.
Jurgen Klopp’s men head into the fixture aware that it is a huge one for their title hopes.
After Manchester City dropped points versus Tottenham at the weekend, Liverpool sit just six points behind them with a game in hand.
This comes in the form of the Reds’ meeting with Leeds, with Manchester City not back in league action until next weekend.
So, it is imperative that Liverpool pick up three points against a struggling Peacocks side, to keep hopes of a genuine title race alive ahead of the season’s run-in.
