A series of bombshell announcements have rocked the foundations of Italian football once more late on Friday evening.
Altogether unsurprisingly, it is Juventus who find themselves front and centre in the headlines, having been hit with a serious sanction on the part of the powers that be in Italian football.
As confirmed by a host of sources, the Bianconeri will be imminently slapped with a 15-point deduction in the Serie A table.
This comes after the Federal Court of Appeals opted to accept a request from the FIGC prosecutor’s office, to reopen a case against Juve for an alleged utilisation of falsified capital giants.
Should the sanction stand upon an expected appeal, Massimiliano Allegri’s troops will tumble from third to the depths of mid-table in Serie A.
