Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski set a Champions League record on Tuesday evening vs RB Salzburg.
Julian Nagelsmann’s side are currently hosting the Austrian outfit at the Allianz Arena in the second of two Champions League Round of 16 ties.
The first leg was actually a fairy close affair and saw Bayern forced to settle for a 1-1 draw.
The reverse fixture, however, has been the complete opposite, with Bayern’s spot in the last-eight secured after just over half an hour.
Robert Lewandowski would open the scoring on the day after just 12 minutes from the penalty spot.
The hitman then added a second from 12 yards after 21 minutes before netting his 3rd two minutes later.

The record was previously held by Marco Simone, who scored for AC Milan v Rosenborg in 1996, taking 24 minutes to do so:
