Premier League leaders Arsenal have, on Saturday, been afforded a timely boost on the personnel front.
For those who may have missed it, Mikel Arteta set pulses racing across the Arsenal fanbase earlier today.
This came upon the Spaniard providing an update on the wellbeing of his squad, ahead of their trip across London to take on Marco Silva’s Fulham on Sunday.
The Gunners saw their advantage atop the table cut to just two points earlier this evening, upon Erling Haaland leading Manchester City past Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
In turn, the last thing which those of an Arsenal persuasion would have wanted to hear was of selection problems mounting at London Colney.
Speaking to the media this afternoon, though, Arteta confirmed that all of Eddie Nketiah, Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Jesus had been ruled out of Sunday’s fixture.
“I hope they do [train],” Arteta explained when drawn on the respective situations of Tierney and Odegaard. “Martin was feeling better and then he became a little bit worse, but hopefully he is able to train today.”

Concerns over one such key member of Arteta’s ranks, though, have since been quelled.
This comes after a series of photos came to the fore online, showcasing ongoings at London Colney on Saturday evening.
And, as can be seen below, midfield standout Odegaard was front and centre, leading to the widespread assumption that the Norwegian will be fit and available for selection at Craven Cottage in 24 hours’ time:
