Manchester City can open up a three-point gap at the top of the Premier League – for 24 hours at least – with victory over Brighton this afternoon.
It is the teams’ second meeting in four days with City prevailing in a penalty shoot-out in the EFL Cup on Wednesday night.
Enzo Maresca’s side’s 100% Premier League record was ended by Aston Villa last weekend, enabling Arsenal to join them on 21 points.
Brighton’s momentum also stalled with a 2-0 defeat at Liverpool.
