Aston Villa return to Premier League action this afternoon hoping to continue their recent resurgence under Unai Emery.
The Villans endured a difficult start to the season following a summer of significant changes to their squad, but results have begun to improve in recent weeks.
Emery’s side have won three of their last four matches in all competitions, suggesting they are finally finding their feet after a challenging opening to the campaign.
Despite that improvement, Villa remain in the lower reaches of the Premier League table and will be desperate to climb the standings with another victory at Villa Park.
But they face a Brentford side who have made an impressive start to the season and are yet to taste defeat in the league.
The Bees head to Birmingham full of confidence following an emphatic 3-0 victory over west London rivals Chelsea before the international break.
Brentford will now be looking to maintain their unbeaten record against a Villa side beginning to rediscover their form.
