Preview for Czechia v England
Both the Czech Republic and England will be looking for their first points of the UEFA Nations League campaign when they meet at the Fortuna Arena on Tuesday night.
Both sides suffered one-goal defeats in their opening fixtures, with the Czech Republic losing 2-1 at home to Croatia while England were beaten 3-2 by Spain at Wembley.
The result means England have now failed to keep a clean sheet in six successive matches, conceding 13 goals during that run.
They have also lost two of their last three games, as many defeats as they suffered across their previous 23 matches.
England currently sit third in League A Group 3 after the opening round of fixtures, leaving them facing a potential relegation play-off if their fortunes do not improve.
The Czech Republic returned to League A after topping League B Group 1 in the 2024-25 Nations League, but another defeat could leave them facing a battle to avoid an immediate return to the second tier.
England will have to be wary of their previous meeting in Prague, though, with the Czech Republic winning 2-1 when the sides met there in 2019.

Team News for Czechia v England
England have no new major injury concerns following the defeat to Spain, although Lewis Hall was not risked at Wembley after suffering a minor issue in training.
Trent Alexander-Arnold was an unused substitute against Spain and could now come into the starting XI, with Jarell Quansah potentially making way.
Liverpool youngster Rio Ngumoha was left out of the matchday squad against Spain after Tuchel was forced to choose 23 players from a 24-man squad, although he could come back into contention in Prague.
The Czech Republic were hit by a number of withdrawals before their opening game, with David Zima, David Jurasek, Matej Rynes, Tomas Vlcek, Lukas Provod, Denis Visinsky and Tomas Chory among those unavailable.
Ladislav Krejci missed the Croatia defeat with a calf problem, while Ondrej Lingr was also absent from the matchday squad.
Karabec was forced off in the second half against Croatia after scoring the Czech Republic’s goal, leaving his availability for Tuesday’s game uncertain.
