Aston Villa have agreed a deal to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka from West Ham.
According to transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano, Villa have come to terms with West Ham on a loan deal with a mandatory purchase option.
Wan-Bissaka will now have a medical with Villa, who begin their Premier League campaign on Sunday away at Brighton and Hove Albion.
The DR Congo international will boost Villa’s options at right-back, where Matty Cash has long since been the first-choice option for Unai Emery’s men.
Villa are set to loan right-back Kosta Nedeljkovic to Rangers, clearing space for Wan-Bissaka.
The former Manchester United defender made 25 appearances in the Premier League last season as West Ham were relegated to the Championship.
Winner of the ‘Hammer of the Year’ award in the previous campaign, Wan-Bissaka went on to impress at the World Cup for DR Congo this summer, playing all four games as they made it through to the knockout stages before losing in the last 32 to England.
