Tottenham continue their search for a first Premier League win of 2026 when they host fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

Just one point and one place separate the sides near the bottom of the table, with both firmly entrenched in the relegation battle heading into a pivotal clash in North London.

Spurs showed signs of life under Igor Tudor in midweek, beating Atletico Madrid 3-2 in the Champions League, although they were still eliminated on aggregate. That result followed a credible draw with Liverpool, offering encouragement after a dismal domestic run.

However, their league form remains alarming. Tottenham are without a win in 12 Premier League matches in 2026 and sit 16th, just above the relegation zone. Their home record has been particularly poor, collecting only 10 points from 15 games.

Forest arrive after progressing in the Europa League, overturning a deficit to beat FC Midtjylland. Domestically, though, they are also struggling, winless in seven league matches and level on points with the drop zone.

Tottenham have been boosted by several returns, with Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Conor Gallagher and Destiny Udogie back available. Richarlison is also eligible again.

However, Yves Bissouma, Ben Davies, Rodrigo Bentancur, Mohammed Kudus, Dejan Kulusevski and James Maddison remain sidelined.

Xavi Simons is pushing for a start after scoring twice against Atletico Madrid.

Forest have fewer fresh concerns, although Willy Boly, Chris Wood and Nicolo Savona remain out. Callum Hudson-Odoi is a doubt.

Key players such as Morgan Gibbs-White and Elliot Anderson are expected to return after being rotated in midweek.
