Real Madrid can move back within one point of La Liga leaders Barcelona with a win over Getafe tonight.
Alvaro Arbeloa’s side got the weekend off, perhaps not a bad thing given the emotionally draining Champions League clash with Benfica last week.
But they will need to be back on it tonight against neighbouring Getafe, who are not yet clear of danger at the wrong end of the table.
Last weekend’s 1-0 home defeat to Sevilla means they will arrive at the Santiago Bernabeu five points clear of the bottom three.
