Wolves v Arsenal: Confirmed team news as table-topping Gunners look to go seven points clear

Arsenal have the chance to open up a seven-point gap at the top of the Premier League tonight when they play their rearranged game at Wolves.

The fixture has been brought forward due to Arsenal qualifying for the EFL Cup final in which they will play Manchester City on March 22.

The Gunners have not been at their sparkling best in recent weeks yet still visit Molineux in the midst of a run that has seen them win five and draw one of their last six games in all competitions.

They ought to be too strong for a Wolves side that has mustered just nine points in what has turned into a miserable season.

They remain in the FA Cup thanks to a 1-0 victory at Grimsby on Sunday but Rob Edwards will be eager to wrap this season up as soon as possible and focus on what will be a Championship campaign in 2026/27.

Wolves’ defeat at the Emirates earlier in the season summed up their campaign in many ways.

Having fought back from an own goal to level through Tolu Arokodare in the 90th minute, Wolves promptly put another into their own net, Yerson Mosquera nodding past Sam Johnstone to hand Arsenal an undeserved three points.
