Sunderland v Burnley: Line-ups confirmed as Black Cats defend unbeaten home record
Burnley start the night on 15 points
Sunderland take on Burnley in the Premier League on Monday night as the Black Cats look to get back to winning ways.
Regis Le Bris’ side have had a fine first half of the season back in the Premier League but have stuttered somewhat of late.
They have only won of their last six games but are the only side yet to lose a home Premier League match this season, winning six and drawing five of their 11 games at the Stadium of Light. The only promoted side to have a longer home unbeaten run in a Premier League season is Birmingham City in 2009-10 (15).
Burnley, meanwhile, are 11 points adrift and are in dire need of a victory.
Burnley remain winless in their last 14 Premier League games (D5 L9); in their top-flight history, only from February 1889 to February 1890 have the Clarets ever endured a longer winless streak (19).
Here’s how they line up.
