Fulham close in on Manchester City winger Oscar Bobb – reports

Fulham are progressing in negotiations with Manchester City over the signing of winger Oscar Bobb.

Sources report that Marco Silva’s side are close to agreeing a deal for the 22-year-old, who has seen his opportunities limited at the Etihad Stadium following City’s January signing of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth.

City manager Pep Guardiola acknowledged the speculation after Saturday’s win over Wolves.

“I know there are rumours, I know there are talks,” Guardiola said. “But I don’t know right now.”

When asked whether Bobb is keen to leave the club, Guardiola added: “I think so.”

Bobb has made 15 appearances in all competitions for City this season without scoring. His most recent outing came on 17 December in the Carabao Cup against Brentford, when he was forced off injured inside the opening 20 minutes.

The Norway international has also attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund but a move to Craven Cottage would see him link up with international team-mate Sander Berge.

Fulham are seventh in the Premier League table after losing just one of their last seven matches, a run that includes Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Brighton.

Bobb has earned six caps for Norway this year and played a role in their qualification for this summer’s World Cup. He spent much of last season sidelined after suffering a leg fracture during a training session in August 2024.

Fulham are also in the market for attacking reinforcements and have submitted a £28m bid for PSV Eindhoven forward Ricardo Pepi.
