WATCH: Haaland scores early to put City in control

Erling Haaland has already scored to put Manchester City ahead at home to West Ham.

The Norwegian was on-hand in the sixth minute, to put a dagger in the hearts of the travelling Hammers fans and sending City top.

After breaking down the left, Phil Foden delivered a ball into the box that was met by his striker.

Alphonse Areola was equal to the first strike, but the ball fell back to Haaland, who buried the rebound with his right foot.

It is another sign of intent from Pep Guardiola’s men that they will chase down the title this season, and should the result not change, they will pile the pressure on Arsenal ahead of their trip to Everton later on.
