Cheltenham Lucky 15 Tips for Day Two

It’s day two of the Cheltenham Festival and we’ve got four horses lined up for a big lucky 15 bet on Ladies Day!

Cheltenham Lucky 15 Tips – Day Two Wednesday 15th March

We’ve combined four horses from the Cheltenham Festival for our day two lucky 15 bet, kicking off with the 1:30pm.

Should all four horses win, the bet would return £675 from a £1 lucky 15 bet.

  • Hermes Allen – 9/2 (Cheltenham 1:30pm)
  • Edwardstone – 6/4 (Cheltenham 3:30pm)
  • Galvin – 9/4 (Cheltenham 4:10pm)
  • Fact To File – 5/1 (Cheltenham 5:30pm)

Hermes Allen

Made a huge impression when winning the Challow Hurdle in December, a Grade One contest that could well give him the best form in this race. Off the track to keep fresh for this, he comes here with all the tools needed, he travels well, can jump nicely, and looks to be a big player.

Edwardstone

Looked set to take the two mile chase division by storm when he won the Tingle Creek in December. Second in the Clarence House here in January when he wasn’t at his best, but given he was lame after, and wasn’t quite 100%, that was still a nice run. He’ll be spot on for this, jumps well, has a great engine, and looks to be a leading contender for the feature race.

Galvin

A one-time Gold Cup hopeful, he certainly comes into this race as the class angle. There is a doubt over his jumping, he’s never been seen in public over these fences, but reports suggest he’s schooled very well, both at Cheltenham and also at Punchestown. If you’re happy to take that, then Galvin looks sure to be a huge player here, and will stay all day, so the trip is no problem for him.

I'm probably best described as a genuine old fashioned punter, who manages to blend that experience with the latest developments in the gambling industry. From filling out my first ever football coupon in the smoke filled local betting office, I've come a long way. Alongside 20+ years betting myself, I've been a gambling writer for over a decade now, focusing on the biggest news stories, reviewing the latest brands, and being excited about new technology and ways to bet. I remember when gambling ended at 3pm on a Saturday, before the days of in-play betting and TV companies deciding when games kick off. But the betting landscape is now much better. For almost everyone, it doesn't matter what you want, or when you want it, there will be a bookmaker out there offering it. Sadly, I wasn't one of the millions who apparently backed Leicester to win the Premier League, but I dined out on Kauto Star's Gold Cup record on many occasions. Throw in the Denver Broncos on a Sunday night, and a Barnsley FC season ticket, and you can see my personal choices are not always right, but I do try.
