Los Blancos have been temporarily dethroned by rivals Barcelona after their win over Girona on Saturday, but Hansi Flick’s side are only one point above Xabi Alonso’s men.
Madrid have only lost one game in the Spanish top flight this season, while their opponents Getafe have three defeats in their first eight games.

For the hosts, it is a bit of a switch in shape from their usual five-at-the-back formation.
