Man United third kit 25/26: New shirt design, cost of jersey and how to buy strip

Manchester United have released their new Adidas third shirt as part of the club’s 2025/26 kit, with manager Ruben Amorim describing the design as “the Mancunian way”.

The predominantly black shirt has been promoted by United legend Dimitar Berbatov posing as a martial artist.

Melvine Malard, Leny Yoro, Manuel Ugarte, Bruno Fernandes, Amad Diallo and Patrick Dorgu are among the players to have modelled the kit.

Twenty-time English champions United said they have been inspired by the away kit they wore between 1993 and 1995, including their double-winning season of 1993/94.

Man United third kit 2025/26: When will it be worn?

The shirt will debut in the Premier League when United visit Brentford on September 27 (12:30 BST / 07:30 ET / 04:30 PT).

United say it will also be worn away to Nottingham Forest, Wolves, Arsenal and Sunderland later in the season and could be used during their FA Cup and EFL Cup campaigns.

“You have come a long way and today you must remember why we train,” former striker Berbatov says in the video.

“Force is not the true way. You must have discipline, clarity of thought, clarity of purpose, learn resilience and, above all, patience and humility.”

Filmed in a gym, the two-time Premier League winner with United continues: “Attack is nothing without defence.

“You must be sharp, remain focused, balanced, gain momentum, flow like the canals and strike like lightning.

“You share this jersey with great legends. Honour them now as they have honoured you.”

How to buy Man United 25/26 third kit

The kit is available from United’s online shop and superstore. Authentic and replica versions are available, with the latter worn by the players.

Long-sleeve and short-sleeve versions are available.

How much does the 25/26 Manchester United kit cost?

The women’s and men’s replica shirt starts at £85 in short-sleeve or £90 in long-sleeve, with custom name and number printing available at added cost.

Authentic versions start at £120 in short-sleeve or £130 in long-sleeve. Child versions start from £50-£65, with a baby kit costing £40.

Shorts are priced at £30 for kids or £38 for adults. Socks are £20.

When does Man United’s 2025/26 Premier League season start?

The first round of Premier League matches in 2025/26 will be on the weekend of August 16 2025, including United’s visit from Arsenal on Sunday, August 17 at 16:30 BST.

The game against the 2024/25 runners-up is being shown live in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League, Ultra and Main Event.

The last round of matches this season will all start at the same time on May 24 2026. No rounds will take place within 60 hours of each other and there will be no fixture on December 24.
