Arsenal were looking to repeat their magnificent win over Real Madrid when they came up against Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.
The Gunners brushed the defending champions aside in the previous round, winning the tie 5-1 on aggregate, a victory based around a hugely impressive 3-0 triumph at the Emirates.
PSG were always likely to present a stiffer test, given their performances this season.
They arrived in London on the back of a mini slump, however, having won just one of their last four games in all competitions.
