Set for the exit door
Sevilla star Steven N’Zonzi is set to leave the club this summer after his team reportedly confirmed that the Frenchman would like to leave the club.
Since moving to Spain from Stoke City the midfielder has become one of the most impressive holding players in La Liga.
So much so that he has been linked with some of the biggest clubs in European football including Italian giants Juventus.
Juve have been looking to recruit a midfield anchor but moves for Nemanja Matic and Blaise Matuidi have not come to fruition with the former moving to Man United.
This has lead to the player looking to leave the former Europa League champions and reports suggest that the player has a release clause of €40m.
That is certainly affordable for some of the top clubs in Europe and could well prove a shrewd piece of business.
Sevilla will certainly be looking to do everything in their power to keep the Frenchman at the club but with a relatively small release clause, that could be difficult.
Barcelona could even move for the player with some suggestions over a move in the past.
Following the sale of Neymar Jr to Paris Saint Germain, Barcelona are expected to spend this summer and could see N’Zonzi as a good option.
N’Zonzi’s people just confirmed the player wants to leave Sevilla. Clause is €40m on a contract until 2020.

Juve rebuffed in approach for Madrid midfielder
While N’Zonzi is a potential target for Juventus, they are also exploring other options for that spot.
Now, the Italian giants have moved for one of Real Madrid’s midfield stars but have been frustrated in a move.
The side enquired about taking the player on loan but the La Liga champions requested a €25m loan fee!
That would not be a permanent move and certainly looks to be a hands off statement.
