What a moment for little Iceland!
To recap, if Iceland do make it to the Brazil 2014, they will become the smallest ever nation to qualify for the World Cup finals.
Another sensational statistic is that 1% of Iceland’s population went to Norway on Tuesday evening to see their side secure a 1-1 draw that ensures they are in the play-offs.
Coming second in in Group E above the likes of Slovenia and Norway is not to be sniffed at and their young players, such as Kolbeinn Sigthorsson and Gylfi Sigurdsson means they could well be a good side for a few years now.
The video below is fan footage from the Ullevaal Stadion and sees the moment the Iceland players heard they had reached the play-offs.
