The 33-year old (34 in August) veteran would hardly represent a regeneration at Spurs, but with his tactical nous and know-how, and wealth of experience, the 2010 Treble winner would provide solidity and reliability to Spurs’ notoriously flaky midfield.
With no signing-on fee, if Spurs could eke the last bit of juice out of Cambiasso for a couple of seasons, it would be a great bit of risk-free business from Pochettino.
